Caribbean Neopriests Meeting 2026 

The Neo-priests of the Caribbean held their traditional annual meeting between May 27 and June 3, at the San Roberto Bellarmino Center in Santiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republic.   

The meeting, held around the Feast of Jesus Christ Supreme and Eternal Priest, included a day of retreat led by Fr. Benjamín González SJ; and a day of formation led by Fr. Lázaro Ángel Águila SJ. In the latter, the main topic discussed was “Artificial Intelligence: Its Pastoral and Ministerial Implications.”.

These were auspicious days for sharing and reflecting on the priestly vocation and its challenges.
