Ignatian Leadership Training at St. George's College

On Tuesday, November 18th, a new Ignatian leadership training program began for the young student leaders of St. George’s College.

The journey was accompanied by the Little Masters Pablo Velázquez, SJ, and Miguel Ángel Francisco Espinal, SJ, who will facilitate this cycle of meetings which will be developed progressively over the coming weeks.

The teacher Pablo Velázquez, SJ, offered an introduction to Ignatian spirituality, highlighting its importance for discernment and service within school life. Subsequently, the teacher Miguel Ángel Francisco Espinal, SJ, delved into cura personalis and the daily examen, two fundamental pillars for integral growth and leadership from interiority.

This initiative arises from the school's Campus Ministry, under the coordination of diocesan seminarian John Viani, and seeks to strengthen the Ignatian identity of the school, accompanying the human and spiritual formation of student leaders, promoting a culture of reflection, service, and commitment to others.
